Over the last eight years, Berwick Partners has built a strong reputation amongst senior HR professionals, which has been achieved through the work of both the HR team, and colleagues in other practice areas.   Our HR Practice until recently had three fee-earners; Basil leRoux, Jane Firth and Milly Black. Basil joined us in early 2017 as Head of Practice and is based in Manchester, Jane joined in 2016 and sits in London; and Milly joined in January 2019. Jane has recently been offered an opportunity to move internally into the HR Practice at Odgers Berndtson. We now seek to replace her role by recruiting an established consultant to join the team. The PA function within Berwick Partners is essential to our success. PAs actively support Partners, Principals and Consultants (Fee Earners) and will support the management of the assignment process, end to end.   The role of a Berwick Partners PA involves: - Developing relationships with clients and candidates, gaining trust and building rapport, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth running of an assignment; communicating clearly both verbally and in written format - Organising your own work and that of the Fee-Earners including diary management, arranging candidate and client interviews, reading reports, making travel arrangements and preparing presentations - Confidently managing Fee-Earners effectively including their workload, calls and deadlines – as well as pre-empting what should be happening on assignments, making the Fee-Earner aware of upcoming issues. - Liaising with our advertising agency to place high quality advertising copy - Adhering to assignment best practice and ensuring records are kept up to date - Managing expenses, travel forms and invoicing, adhering to Berwick Partners policy - Demonstrating a cooperative and flexible nature – assisting others in the practice when required and being willing to “go the extra mile” when needed
