  • About the role

    Odgers Berndtson is currently embarking on a major Digital Transformation Programme which will migrate the company to a Salesforce Lightning Platform. You will assist in the discovery & requirements gathering, scope definition, together with implementation & deployment activities for the client software as well as Salesforce. You will be required to be proficient in all typical areas of Salesforce.com application configuration, testing, documentation and best practice.

    This is a customer-facing role, and candidate must be able to communicate well with customers of varying technical abilities. You will require an ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical reality.

    Responsibilities and Objectives

    Working with the Delivery team to deliver ‘end to end’ customer implementation projects using Salesforce.com technical & Functional expertise to design, configure, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Force.com platform.

    • Ensure clear communication among all stakeholders, including the customer and internal team
    • Conduct and/or attend customer and team meetings onsite or at company offices as required by business needs; some international travel will be required
    • Assist with analysis and business requirements gathering, to develop detailed functional requirements, including scope of work
    • Conduct analysis of systems specifications and use analysis / diagramming tools to represent business / technical processes
    • Assist with the analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing and implementation across customers’ functional areas of business
    • Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements; provide current best practice and third-party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document
    • Work with developers to create clear, concise and complete solution design specifications and documentation
    • Produce technical specifications for custom development and systems integration requirements
    • Salesforce Configuration skills such as creating objects, custom fields, workflows, triggers and flows, security setup and configuration changes to communities
    • Prepare and analyse data migration requirements
    • Lead UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Support efforts
    • Train and develop the IT team and the training team in place for the rollout

    About you

    • Salesforce Certified Administrator, but preferably they have achieved Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator so they can make tune and elevate the application and its utilisation.
    • Salesforce Certified Application Architect (this itself has prerequisites including Design and Development to a sufficient level, and are all relevant to the role). 

    Additional certifications would be advantageous:

    • Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
    • Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant
    • Salesforce Certified Mobile Solutions Architecture Designer
    • Essential Salesforce certifications:
    • Experience within the Staffing and Recruiting industry.
    • Experience working with web-based, Software as a Service (Saas) applications.
    • Familiarity with any of the following technologies:
    • Java/Javascript
    • HTML/CSS
    • Web Based Application Development
